Wildflower Meadow
Location: Caythorpe, Nottingham
Creating this wildflower meadow in Caythorpe, Nottingham was done in two stages: preparing the land followed by sowing the seeds.
The response to this project has been extremely positive; the client informed J.K Conservation Projects that they had seen a noticeable increase in the number of field voles and damselflies in particular. The density of wildflowers has truly provided a great habitat that not only benefits bees and butterflies.
With thanks to
38 Degrees - a fantastic petition website encouraging positive change, who provided several packs of wildflower seeds used on this project.
